TUS SciTech Research Center

To develop Tokyo University of Science into a global research hub, it is essential to establish a framework from a medium- to long-term perspective that simultaneously promotes the enhancement of research capabilities and the social implementation of research outcomes.

Guided by this vision, we established the TUS SciTech Research Center in fiscal year 2025 to foster the internationalization of our university's distinctive research fields through innovation driven by co-creation. Under the TUS SciTech Initiative, the Center will comprehensively roll out various initiatives, including expanding the depth of science and technology domains, maximizing interdisciplinary integration, upgrading the research environment, and nurturing next-generation researchers.

As a university-led research organization with a top-down strategic approach, the Center will dynamically execute pilot and challenging research initiatives. At the same time, through a flexible, cross-departmental structure, we will respond to diverse projects and strategically cultivate priority areas that will serve as the pillars of next-generation research. Through these efforts, we will lead a dramatic leap forward in the research capabilities.
