On February 16 (Thu), 2023, a group of sixteen professors and students from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria), which is a TUS Partner University, visited Tokyo University of Science (TUS). Professor Mutsumi Sugiyama of the Faculty of Science and Technology's Department of Electrical Engineering led the group on a tour of the six laboratories involved with the Interdisciplinary Agricultural Science and Technology Course in the Graduate School of Science and Technology. Together with faculty members, TUS graduate students as well as undergraduate students eagerly explained their research results, laboratory equipment and other subjects in English with the visitors, and this was followed by lively discussion among the students.
IIt is hoped that this visit will lead to further interaction and exchange between the two universities.
