TUS Dormitory I
  • In March 2018, the first Tokyo University of Science housing for men was unveiled at Kagurazaka Campus. Built in an ideal location, this dormitory consists of one-room units around 24㎡ offered at a rent of approximately 70,000 yen. The basic room facilities are also plentiful. TUS provides a place where students can live safely even on their own, at an inexpensive rate, realizing an environment where they can focus on their studies.

Noda Campus
TUS Global Residence
  • A new dormitory has been open on the Noda campus since March 2024. Students can communicate with each other on the comfortable courtyard terrace. Entrepreneurship support facilities will also be set up, making an ideal environment for students looking to start their own businesses. Events, such as inviting business professionals from outside the university, will also be held in the near future.

TUS Dormitory II
  • In March 2019, a dorm used exclusively by the University was newly built on the Noda Campus. Equipped with the latest in security, this student dorm is all-electric and boasts a designer touch. It is made up entirely of 28.88 ㎡ single-room residences. Students can live with peace of mind in a sophisticated, comfortable living area, and this dormitory provides an environment where they can relax while studying.

  • In March 2019, a boarding house was newly renovated into a dormitory used exclusively by the University. This dormitory is perfect for students who are living on their own for the first time, as it comes with furniture and appliances. Located on the TUS campus, this dormitory was newly rebuilt at the same time as TUS Dormitory II so that students can lead their student lives comfortably and with peace of mind.

Noda International Community House
  • In April 2014, the Noda International Community House was opened on the Noda Campus. The objective of this new addition was to provide a venue for student life which cultivates merit-based principles, one of the traditions of the Tokyo University of Science, as well as aiming to enhance community skills and foster a globally-capable student body.

Katsushika International Dormitory
  • With the opening of the Katsushika Campus in April 2013, the Katsushika International Dormitory was opened nearby for the exclusive use of TUS students. This dormitory is occupied by both Japanese and international students. Residing together in one building helps foster a cosmopolitan mindset among all students. The dormitory contains single rooms and shared rooms (three rooms share a kitchen, bathroom and toilet).

Katsushika Community House (Partner Dormitory)
  • With the opening of the Katsushika Campus in April 2013, TUS formed a business partnership with Kyoritsu Maintenance (only in Japanese) Co. Ltd. and established a student dormitory called "Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika Community House". Students can concentrate on their studies while also cultivating communication skills through interaction with other students in the many communal spaces provided. Facilities also include separate male and female communal bathing facilities (with saunas), giving students a way to experience traditional Japanese culture.

TRUST NET 21: A Rental Guarantor Service for Foreigners

Renting a room in Japan requires a guarantor.
TRUST NET 21, from Global Trust Networks Co., Ltd. (GTN) is a guarantor service that foreigners can use when renting a room in Japan. Unlike typical guarantor services, it does not require you to communicate in Japanese or have a Japanese guarantor / emergency contact.
