On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, 12 faculty and staff members of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), a partner university of the university, visited the Katsushika Campus.
Hiroyuki Makiuchi, Director of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization, gave a welcome address and introduced TUS. The delegation then exchanged views on future education and research exchanges with Professor Taku Sakaushi of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, who is the contact person for this agreement, and toured the department's laboratories under the guidance of Professor Takashi Sozu of the Department of Information and Computer Technology, Faculty of Engineering.
TUS has concluded an inter-university agreement with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and it is expected that this visit will further develop exchanges between the two universities.
