On Friday, October 13, 2023, five faculty members from Airlangga University (Indonesia) paid a visit to the Noda Campus. Their visit included a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic exchange between Airlangga University's Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline and TUS's Graduate School of Science and Technology.
After the MOU was signed by Professor Dwi Setyawan, Dean of Airlangga University's Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline, and Professor Hiroyuki Ito, Dean of the Graduate School of Science and Technology, the two sides exchanged views on future academic exchange, including the sending and accepting of students.
Airlangga University is engaged in joint research with Associate Professor Takeshi Kondo of the Faculty of Science and Technology's Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry. It is expected that the recent visit and MOU will lead to further exchanges between the two universities.
