On June 27, 2023, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British higher education evaluation agency, released the QS World University Rankings 2024. Tokyo University of Science has increased its overall ranking to 661-670 and our national ranking to 18th place (5th amongst private universities).
This year is the 20th anniversary of the QS World University Rankings, and with the inclusion of 1,500 educational institutions from 104 countries and regions around the world, this was the largest edition to date. Three new indicators - Sustainability, Employment Outcomes, and International Research Network - were also introduced, and our university was ranked 267th in the world for Employment Outcomes. This can be said to be the result of the employment performance of TUS, which is one of the best in Japan, and how it has been highly evaluated worldwide.
With the objective of becoming a "TUS that opens up the future of the world," we will continue to strive toward promoting world-leading creative research and improving our international presence.
