The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 have been announced by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a UK company specializing in the analysis of higher education institutions. Research citations, along with the results of major global surveys of employers and academics, are used to rank universities.
For a second year in a row, TUS has been ranked among the world's top universities in ten areas, encompassing two broad subject areas(*1) and eight narrow subjects(*2). These results are a testament to an all-around high regard for TUS' research strengths. As TUS continues to help in building our global future, we are focused on being a global leader in innovative research and on raising our profile internationally.

(*1) Subject areas constitute five broad categories into which the various subjects are classified: "Arts & Humanities," "Engineering & Technology," "Life Sciences & Medicine," "Natural Sciences" and "Social Sciences & Management."
(*2) Subjects encompass 51 disciplines that have been divided among the five subject areas.
