Professor Akihiko Yoshimura

I have been researching the molecular mechanisms of immune diseases for many years and, in recent years, have expanded the scope of my research to include cancer treatment and brain diseases. I am extremely honored that my achievements have been recognized in this way, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my colleagues who have walked this path with me.
I would like to use the knowledge I have gained to date as a foundation for further efforts here at the Tokyo University of Science to develop new treatments that will save the lives of patients with intractable diseases such as cancer.
