On Thursday, November 2, 2023, 17 students from Dalian University of Technology (China) and four accompanying faculty and staff visited the Kagurazaka Campus.
Hiroyuki Makiuchi, Director of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization, gave a welcome address, introduced TUS, and explained the Mathematical Experience Plaza. They then took a tour of the Plaza. At the Plaza, participants listened intently to explanations of the teaching tools by the staff in charge, took the actual tools in their hands, and received individual explanations from Professor Emeritus Jin Akiyama, making it a valuable opportunity.
TUS has concluded an academic exchange agreement with DUT, and it is expected that this visit will further develop exchanges between the two universities.
