In the "QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022" released by British company QS∗ on September 23rd, Tokyo University of Science (TUS) ranked 151-160th among universities worldwide and 10th among universities in Japan (3rd among private universities in Japan).
These rankings are released by QS in order to shed light on how world-class universities perform in terms of graduate employability in the labor market, and they are determined based on five measurement indicators: Employer Reputation, Alumni Outcomes, Partnerships with Employers per Faculty, Employer/Student Connections, and Graduate Employment Rate.
As in the past, TUS continued to score highly in terms of Partnerships with Employers and Alumni Outcomes, and, in particular, "Graduate Employment Rate," for which TUS received the highest score of any university in Japan.
When the "Graduate Employment Rate" score is considered independently of other metrics, TUS is the only Japanese university to rank in the top 50 globally. This can be attributed to the high regard which society has for TUS' educational results and graduate success.
TUS will continue to pursue education which embodies the school's founding spirit and produces talented graduates who contribute to society.
