On January 14, Mr. Shiratori Kazuhiko, Deputy Director of the Japanese Nationals Overseas Safety Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a lecture on overseas safety measures for participants of this academic year's Spring Foreign Language Training Program. The lecture was intended to help students recognize incidents and accidents that might occur during travel or stay overseas and develop the proper mental preparedness needed to prevent such incidents and minimize harm.
MOFA lectures are held every year as part of the university's risk management. These lectures have been well received by both students, planning to participate in the Language Training Program, and their guardians and credited with helping to prevent accidents.
