Signing of the academic exchange agreement between Indian Institute of Science and our university

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is the premier university in India for science and engineering education - ranked at 29th. in Times Higher Education Asia rankings. After meetings in Tokyo and Bengaluru, India, it was decided to sign an agreement between two universities. Prof. Yoichiro Matsumoto, president of the Tokyo University of Science, Prof. Hiroshi Yabe, chairperson of the Center for Data Science and D. Narayan of the International Division visited the IISc. campus in Bengaluru in early November.

The signing ceremony for the memorandum of understanding between the Indian Institute of Science and Tokyo University of Science was held at the council chamber of the IISc main campus in Bengaluru, India on 4th. November, 2019 - attended by the heads of both institutions, prominent academicians as well the Consul-General of Japan in Bengaluru, Mr. T. Kitagawa.
