During the morning of September 10th (Tue), 2019, University of Wisconsin - Platteville President Dennis J. Shields and Vice President Rose Smyrski and University of Wisconsin System Vice President David Brukardt paid a visit to Tokyo University of Science (TUS).
The delegation, who were part of Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers' trade mission to Japan, expressed their interest in exploring possibilities for future international collaboration with engineering universities. They met with Center for Promotion of Internationalization Director Kazuo Watanabe and engaged in fruitful discussion about opportunities for future academic and research exchange.
It is hoped that this visit will lead to some type of exchange being established between our universities.
