Tokyo University of Science (TUS; President: Yoichiro Matsumoto) took part in JAGAM Japan Education Fair 2019 held in Malaysia.
The fair, which was sponsored by the Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia (JAGAM), an alumni association for Malaysians who have studied abroad in Japan, kicked off in Johor Bahru on August 10th before moving to Penang on the 11th and then Kuala Lumpur on the 12th. Twenty-five schools, including nine universities, were in attendance with the Japan Student Services Organization (including the Osaka Japanese Language Education Center) at the Kuala Lumpur venue. Past international students who graduated from TUS were also on hand in Johor Bahru to interpret and provide other assistance. All three fair venues were well-attended, attracting around 1,600 visitors in total.
For TUS, each venue was a meaningful opportunity to listen to and answer the important questions and concerns of numerous students interested in studying in Japan, as well as of their parents and guardians.
