Gary Tang, chairman of the Japan Graduates Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) visited the Tokyo University of Science (TUS) on May 29 (WED), 2019 following a visit in February 2019 (third from left in photo).
Tang met with Director Watanabe of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization and four other university officials. Topics of discussion included an education fair in Malaysia that TUS plans to join. Opinions regarding Malaysian student expectations for college education in Japan were also exchanged. This was Mr. Tang's second visit to TUS so the atmosphere was friendly with discussions even extending to the current state of education in Malaysia. There are expectations for the further promotion of exchanges between Japan and Malaysia, including the potential for accepting study abroad students from Malaysia.
