On Friday, April 5, 2019, a delegation from Homerton College of the University of Cambridge visited the Tokyo University of Science. In AY2018, TUS newly launched the Cambridge Program as part of a summer language training program, in which TUS students are dispatched to the Homerton College's English language training program, Homerton International Programme. In the exchange of opinions that was held on April 5, the visitors confirmed the details of the program that will be implemented this academic year with Vice President Okamura and Director Watanabe of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization. In addition, other significant exchanges of opinions were made, such as regarding comparison of English proficiency and approaches toward English learning between Japanese students and students of other countries.
As a result of this visit, there are expectations for exchanges between the two universities to further deepen.
