On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, a group of 5 people led by Dr. Anurag Kumar, the Director of the Indian Institute of Science, visited the Tokyo University of Science.
After a meaningful exchange of opinions regarding the possibility of future academic and research exchanges with Prof. Yasumori, Vice Chair, Board of Directors and others, presentations were held, with Professors Tsai and Kawamura of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, and Professor Akitsu of the Department of Chemistry respectively introducing their research. Active exchanges of opinions were held in an atmosphere that was harmonious from beginning to end. The visitors also toured the Active Learning Classroom that was built last academic year, and listened passionately to an explanation from Associate Professor Watanabe of the Center for Teacher Education.
We are expecting this visit to serve as an opportunity for development of exchange between the two universities in the future.
