On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, a five-person delegation from Dalian University of Technology (DUT) in China paid a courtesy visit to TUS. In 2015, TUS and DUT became partner universities after signing an academic exchange agreement.
During their visit, the members of the DUT delegation met with Center for Promotion of Internationalization Director Okamura and other TUS representatives, and they engaged in a fruitful discussion about how to energize greater mutual student exchange. The members of the delegation proposed an extremely appealing student exchange program idea which will be considered by TUS administrators and faculty.
It is hoped that this visit will serve as an opportunity for future exchange and development between our two universities.
