On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, a delegation of 25 people from the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Education (KAEE) visited the Tokyo University of Science, and met with Dr. Soichiro Okamura, who is a Director of the Tokyo Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (TEIC), and Dr. Emi Makino, who is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management, School of Management.
KAEE was established in 2012 in order to promote collegiate entrepreneurship, and is made up of more than 80 universities and 400 researchers in Korea. The delegation was visiting Japan in order to learn about the entrepreneurial environment in Japan as well as education of entrepreneurs at universities.
During their meeting with the delegation, Director Okamura and Associate Professor Makino explained the Tokyo University of Science's approaches toward promoting entrepreneurship based on MIT-REAP. Afterwards, active exchanges of opinions were held, and the KAEE delegation seemed to be impressed with the University's approaches.
