Lecture by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Held for Summer Language Training Program Participants

On Saturday, June 30, Mr Yoshinori Hironaka from the Japanese Nationals Overseas Safety Division, Consular Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, was invited to talk to participants in the summer language training program for this academic year about "Safe Overseas Travels", as part of risk management. What is most important in traveling abroad safely is gathering information, and the objective is to minimize the risk of them becoming involved in incidents and accidents by having students who are traveling abroad be aware of preparedness and examples of incidents/accidents that can occur easily abroad. This kind of lecture is annually held before the start of the language training program, and has been well-received by participants in the program, as well as their guardians.
