On May 18 (Fri), 2018,a twelve-person delegation led by Vice President, Professor Rong Mingzhe from Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, paid a courtesy visit to TUS.
Since signing a mutual cooperation agreement in 2009, Xi'an Jiaotong University and TUS have enjoyed active exchange and interaction with one another, including research exchange between faculty and researchers, research collaboration at the graduate student level and short-term mutual exchange at the undergraduate level.
The delegation from Xi'an Jiaotong University is in Japan to attract talented individuals at recruitment fairs in Tokyo and Kyoto as well as to strengthen ties with partner universities. At TUS they met with Vice President Okamura and others, with whom they engaged in a friendly and spirited discussion about the current university system and opportunities for future academic and student exchange.
We believe that this visit will contribute to an even greater level of exchange between our two universities.
