On Thursday, September 21, 2017, Assistant Professor Christel Pierlot and Director of International Relations Zahia Turpin from Lille 1 University in France visited the Tokyo University of Science, which was mediated by Professor Hideki Sakai of Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, and had a talk with Director Shinotsuka of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization.
During their meeting, significant exchanges of opinions were made on the possibility, etc. of academic exchanges between the two universities, after which talks were held on a concrete exchange plan between Sakai Lab and a corresponding lab at Lille 1 University.
There are expectations for this visit to serve as the foundation for development of exchanges between the two universities in the future.
