On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, a delegation from the Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) in Thailand visited the Tokyo University of Science (TUS).
PIM is a member of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), a leading business conglomerate in Thailand, and the visit was organized via an introduction by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), which is the main bank of TUS.
The delegation included three representatives of PIM and CP Group, including Executive Director and Vice President for Administrative Affairs Siam Chocksawangwong, one representative of Bank of Ayudhya, and two representatives of BTMU, which served as the intermediary. The delegation engaged in a meaningful exchange of opinions about the potential for academic exchange between PIM and TUS with Director Shinozuka of the Center for Promotion of Internationalization.
The visit is expected to serve as the foundation for future exchange development between PIM and TUS.
