On November 17, 2016 (Thursday), 20 students from the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines visited the Tokyo University of Science's Katsushika Campus. During their visit, they visited the Kawahara Lab in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, where there was a research introduction by Professor Kawahara and Assistant Professor Xu and a presentation of research contents by students affiliated with the Kawahara Lab. After their visit to the lab, the visitors moved to the English lounge, where there was an exchange event for the students from Mapua Institute of Technology and students from TUS. Both sides seemed to enjoy their conversations, even losing track of the time. Although the exchange was for a short period, we expect exchanges among the students to continue in the future.
