Academic Exchange Agreement concluded with the University of California, Davis (USA)

On October 24th, 2006, TUS concluded an Academic Exchange Agreement with the University of California, Davis in the USA.

One of ten universities in the University of California system, UC Davis was founded in 1905 as an agricultural branch of UC Berkeley before becoming independent as a university in its own right.

UC Davis offers a comprehensive education including Faculties of Medicine, Philosophy, Engineering and Life Sciences. It has around 30,000 students and some 1,500 members of teaching staff. It is ranked joint 14th of all US public universities in the "US News and World Report 2007".

In future, our two universities will strengthen mutual relations by jointly supporting academic conferences, short-term courses, full courses, seminars and symposia, as well as exchanging publications, teaching materials and research materials.
