The objective of the Department of Biological Science and Technology is to clarify life phenomena from the perspective of fundamental biology such as biochemistry, molecular biology and cellular biology, and furthermore, to carry out research and education from the perspective of engineering with new biotechnology used in various fields related to bioengineering, which demonstrates significant developments, to cultivate human resources who posses creativity and fundamental capabilities to contribute to resolving the various issues that human beings are faced with, and to contribute broadly to society.
