About TUS’s startup creation & growth support

At the TUS Organization for Innovation and Social Collaboration, we assist entrepreneurs with their endeavors as best we can, in cooperation with TUSIDE and a broad range of supporters within and outside the university.

The research results and human assets produced by TUS hold limitless potential for creating “brand new value for future society.” Our research results and ideas, backed by science, are the precious “rough stones”
Furthermore, the founding spirit of TUS, which embodies the passion of young Scientists, “Building a better future with Science,” has remained vibrant even after 145 years, and is sure to be passed down within our Campus　and in the hearts of all of you as a philosophy for social implementation.
“TUS Startups Support” brings together such raw materials and ideas (seeds)  and passions (will) towards future.
All of us in the Startups Support & Regional Collaboration Division would like to be your partners as you set sail on the vast ocean of industry, thinking, worrying, running, gathering, polishing your “rough stones” until they shine, and preparing for rough seas by loading your ship with as many treasures as possible – “intellectual property, colleagues, funds, and wisdom, and so on”

Support model of the TUS Organization for Innovation and Social Collaboration

TUS supports startups across their entire life cycle, through TUSIDE, the university’s own ecosystem designed to assist startups, from creation to growth.
Under this scheme, the TUS Organization for Innovation and Social Collaboration provides hands-on support to cultivate entrepreneurship and guide startups from the seed phase to the early stage, encompassing research, business feasibility study, and commercialization.
In addition, such support is extended through the growth stage for Certified TUS-developed startups.
To run a business, its management must have a 360-degree view, as each business faces its own unique set of issues and challenges.
That’s why we are here to provide optimal support for your entrepreneurial endeavors, while sharing the issues of the faculty, students, and other stakeholders involved, and coordinating the resources of the university, TUSIDE (TUSIM and TUSIC), and external entities such as the national government, municipalities, and local communities.
