| Research History |
- 2012-2018 Graduate Student, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo
Conducted research in the laboratory of Professor Kouji Matsushima, focusing on pulmonary fibrosis, cancer immunology, transcriptome analysis, and T-cell receptor repertoire profiling.
2018-2023 Assistant Professor, Research Institute for Biomedical Sciences, Tokyo University of Science
Investigated pulmonary fibrosis, cancer immunology, single-cell RNA sequencing methodologies, and TCR repertoire analysis.
As part of the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, provided analytical support and engaged in collaborative research with numerous teams, performing scRNA-seq analysis on various inflammation models.
2023-2026 Lecturer, Tokyo University of Science
Continued research on the above ones.
Developed sci-TAS-seq, a high-efficiency single-cell analysis platform for disease-specific iPSCs. Applied this method to the characterization of ALS-derived iPSCs and the construction of a comprehensive scRNA-seq database.
2026-Present Associate Professor, Tokyo University of Science

| Research Theme |
- “ Research on Treatment Stratification via T-cell Receptor Analysis in Cancer Immunotherapy and the Development of Novel Cell Therapies” CD8+ T cells play a pivotal role in antitumor immunity, with their antigenic specificity governed by surface-expressed T-cell receptors (TCRs). We aim to develop a novel TCR analysis methodology to enable early stratification of ICI efficacy in clinical settings. Additionally, by establishing a rapid identification of potently cancer-reactive TCRs, this research seeks to accelerate the development of next-generation TCR-T cell therapies.
- "Mapping Genetic Regulation in Sporadic ALS using Scalable Single-Cell Functional Genomics and iPSC Repositories" Despite the known complexity of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the links between individual genetic backgrounds and the mechanisms driving motor neuron impairment are not yet understood. Here, we aim to clarify the causal relationship between genetic heterogeneity and motor neuron degeneration. By large-scale genetic perturbations using a novel, low-cost method, we provide a framework to decipher the genetic regulation of ALS pathogenesis.
- “ Research on the Molecular and Cellular Basis of Pulmonary Fibrosis” Pulmonary fibrosis is a severe pathological condition that arises in association with various interstitial lung diseases. By leveraging our proprietary high-sensitivity single-cell omics analysis technology, mouse disease models, and an extensive collection of clinical specimens and porcine lung disease models from collaborators, we aim to identify the cells and molecules contributing to the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis.
