- 1990-1992 Engaged in research on structural engineering at Tokyo University of Science (Master's Program).
1992-2000 Engaged in structural design and analysis at Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc. (steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, soil-structure interaction, and structural analysis program development).
2000-Present Engaged in education and research at Tokyo University of Science (Ph.D. in Engineering). Conducting research on structural design, seismic design, structural analysis, and structural safety evaluation, including vibration control and seismic isolation technologies (e.g., oil dampers), seismic diagnosis and retrofit of existing buildings, quantitative damage assessment, and development of reinforcement technologies using advanced materials (e.g., aramid fibers and polyurea). Also engaged in research on seismic retrofit and utilization of vacant wooden houses, including DIY-based approaches, and promoting social implementation of structural and disaster mitigation technologies through industry-academia collaboration.
