Research History	1996-1999: on thermal-fluid phenomena induced by nanosecond-pulsed heating of materials in water (Ph.D. course, The University of Tokyo). 1999-present: on convections due to surface-tension-difference (Marangoni effect) (topics: routes to the chaos, particle accumulation structure, active feedback control, etc ). 2004-present: on nonlinear behavior of air/vapor bubble, behavior of particles suspended in volatile droplet sitting on the solid material ('Coffee stain problem'), dynamics of fluid in the vicinity of contact line of droplet traveling on solid substrate, etc.
