Research History |
- My research interests are in the field of control engineering and its industrial applications based on mechatronics and power electronics. In the past, I have been working on a wide range of research topics, such as PWM inverters for electric railroads, numerical solution of optimal control problems, variable gap actuators, modern control applications to induction machine control, robust servo system design, robot manipulator control, power system control, axial-torsional vibration control, and chaotic nonlinear control.
Recent research topics are classified into four categories: (1) control of electric vehicles, (2) wireless power transmission systems, (3) super capacitor applications, and (4) human-friendly motion control. In recent years, I have been focusing on wireless power transmission, and have been proposing an electric vehicle with the three elements of motor, capacitor, and wireless to the society.
