Research History |
- We investigate stability of equilibria of mathematical models governed by a system of nonlinear differential equations. In particular, we are interested in global stability of an endemic equilibrium of epidemic models such as SIR (Susceptible-Infected-Recovered) models. Our study plays an important role to predict the eventual disease prevalence by a threshold parameter called the basic reproduction number. Our interest also lies in the asymptotic behavior of solutions of structured population models such as age-structured models.
