At the Tokyo University of Science, our motto "building the foundation of our national prosperity through the spread of the sciences" has guided us since our founding in 1881. We have maintained our traditional "merit system" and upheld the ideal of "developing technology for humans and nature" not just as abstract educational principles, but also in the practical application of our curriculum and associated programs.
