Overseas Career Seminar Held with Cooperation from TUS Alumni

On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, Kazukiyo Kumagai, a graduate of the Tokyo University of Science who is leading a successful career overseas (currently working at the California Department of Public Health/Lawrence Berkeley National Library), was invited and an overseas career seminar was held at the Kagurazaka Campus.

This event was held as part of the English Lounge events, but as there were applications from many students, it was held in a classroom.
Seventeen students from each campus participated. All students listened intently to the seminar while superimposing their own future onto the overseas experience of TUS alumni.

In the questionnaire given to student participants, the students remarked, "I want to see this with my own eyes by studying abroad"; "This made me think about the values of Japanese people"; and "This provided me with time to think solidly about what I should be doing now."

This seminar served as a chance for students to start thinking about an international career.
