About the Areas of Study Mathematics
Today, mathematics and mathematical perspectives and approaches are used in a vast range of applications that include investigations and predictions for space technology, online banking systems, various production technologies, and social and economic analysis. In today's highly complex society, familiarity with mathematics and mathematical methods is a valuable tool that helps us lead independent lives and perform our jobs.
The Mathematics graduate program consists of five fields: Algebraic Structure, Geometrical Structure, Theory of Analysis, Mathematical Analysis, and Applied Mathematics. The program pursues research and education based on the belief that mathematical sciences stands next to the conventional disciplines of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences as one of four main branches of academia.
