About the Areas of Study Industrial Administration
This program is comprised of five specialties: Information Engineering, Production Engineering, System Engineering, Management Mathematics, and Management Engineering. Because it also places emphasis on horizontal interaction among these specialties, the program distributes syllabi and other educational information electronically over the Internet. Moreover, the program attaches great importance to internationalization, which is why it offers special lectures by external instructors as well as lectures in English by renowned foreign researchers.
Industrial administration is a discipline that was born in response to demands of the times. Students in this program are expected to master the latest information-processing technologies (network computing, Internet languages and artificial intelligence, etc.) and cultivate their creative skills for future applications. And, of course, they should fully develop their English and mathematical skills for application to the international business environment. Because students will be given opportunities to acquire techniques for modeling large-scale systems with a focus on energy and environmental challenges and acquire the latest in optimization skills, they can be expected to develop into top-level corporate managers.
